Video and animation

with impact.

We are a B Corp certified video and animation studio based in Cheshire, working with organisations across the UK who need their stories told properly. Charities building the case for change. video production and animation
with seriously good impact.

Trusted by organisations who mean what they say.

From grassroots charities and national non-profits to purpose-led brands and learning teams – were trusted by organisations across the UK who care deeply about how their stories are told.

Having worked with Majestical recently on our nature recovery video, I would highly recommend them especially if you are looking for an organisation, who provides consistency, keeps to a tight project time frame and are a genuine pleasure to work with. Their approach to video design is unique and encompasses a wide range of audiences, from youngsters all the way to the pensioners. They helped us not only capture our vision for the video but helped to develop it into something we would not have conceived of achieving without their help. Highly recommended!!!”

Let's create lasting change. Together.

We work with charities, learning teams and purpose-led brands who are serious about what they are trying to achieve. If you know your stories deserve to be told better – you are in exactly the right place. Projects start from £5,000 – with a standard 20% discount for UK registered charities.

E-learning videos.

Complex ideas, explained simply. Behaviours, changed for good.

We create video and animation series that make important subjects clear, engaging and impossible to forget. Whether you are digitising an existing programme, launching a new learning initiative or building a video library from scratch, we build for the real world: responsive to your LMS, your brand and the specific audience you need to reach.

Charity films.

Real stories, told with care. Films that move people to give, volunteer and believe.

We create fundraising films, impact stories and awareness campaigns for charities who know that authentic human connection is what drives real change. We understand the sector. We handle beneficiary stories with care, work within the constraints of restricted funding and treat your mission with the respect it deserves.

Purpose-Led Brand film.

Stories that prove your values are lived, not just stated.

We create brand films, campaign work and impact stories for brands that have built everything around doing things differently – and need video and animation that reflects that from the inside out. We share your values. That is not a pitch – it is a B Corp commitment. When your audience watches the films we make together, they will feel the difference.

Creative Partnership.

Not a supplier. A creative team that already knows your world.

For organisations with an ongoing need for video and animation, a Creative Partnership means the people making your films understand your audience, your voice and your goals before each new project begins. Consistent creative quality. Preferential rates. A studio that grows with you.

It’s not about making noise, it’s about making a difference.

Ocean Generation

Fifty-three videos. One coherent voice. Complex ocean science made unmissable for over 1,500 young people across the world.

Mindset Practice

Scaling a Psychology-Backed Learning Platform Through Film

We’re a small studio with strong convictions.

Majestical was built around a belief that the stories most worth telling are the ones that rarely get told well. We take on fewer projects so we can give each one more. We push back when something is not working and celebrate when it is. We are B Corp certified, a Real Living Wage employer, women-owned – and we operate that way because it would feel wrong not to.

Our process starts with one question; what do you want your audience to think, feel and do?

Every project we take on starts in the same place – not with a camera, a timeline or even a script, but with a carefully crafted framework of specific questions. Because we believe that a film or animation that doesn’t change how someone thinks, feels or acts is just noise. What follows is the process we’ve built – over years of working with charities, learning teams and purpose-led brands – to make sure every story we tell makes a difference.

01. Discovery

What needs to change?

Before we discuss format, duration or style, we immerse ourselves in your world. We want to understand your audience, your mission and – most importantly – the transformation we’re aiming to achieve. This is where the real work begins.

02. Script and structure

The story takes shape.

We build a clear, review-friendly script that keeps your outcomes at the centre of every line. You stay in control throughout. We push back when something isn’t working and celebrate when it is. The best stories are built together.

03. Design and style

The visual world is agreed.

Before a single frame of animation is produced or a shoot is planned, the visual direction is confirmed with you. No surprises. Every creative decision is made in service of the story and the people it needs to reach.

04. Production

The project comes to life.

Whether we’re filming, animating or combining both, this is where craft meets conviction. Organised, efficient and focused – with regular check-ins so you always know where your project stands.

05. Delivery

Ready to move people.

Every piece is delivered in the formats your platforms need, optimised for the audiences you’re trying to reach. The project doesn’t end at delivery – you’ll get our publishing support materials and unreserved follow-up support.

What this means in practice

When we say we will deliver on time, we do. When we commit to understanding your mission, we immerse ourselves in it. When it feels like a story isn’t working properly, we’ll take our time to understand why – because getting it right matters more than getting it done. And when the finished piece moves your audience to think differently, feel something real and do something about it – that’s the only measure of success that matters.

That’s not a claim. It’s the commitment that comes with B Corp certification – and with being the kind of studio that would rather turn down a project than compromise on it.

Every project is different, so we work with ranges rather than fixed prices. A single charity film or animated explainer typically sits between £5,000 and £15,000 depending on duration, complexity and whether it involves location filming or a fully animated approach. Longer series and ongoing partnership work is priced separately and usually offers better value per piece. Our fees reflect the full creative process – from the first conversation about what you want your audience to think, feel and do, through to a finished story ready to move people. We are transparent about costs from the very first call and will never surprise you with additional charges. If you are unsure whether your budget fits, just ask – we would rather have that conversation early.

For a single film or animation, most projects move from brief to delivery in four to eight weeks. Series projects and larger commissions typically take eight to twelve weeks. Both timelines assume a reasonably responsive feedback process on your side – which we make as easy as possible with clear review stages and straightforward briefs. If you are working to a fixed deadline – a fundraising campaign launch, a grant application, an annual conference – tell us early. We plan our schedule carefully and take on a limited number of projects at a time, so the sooner we know your timeline the better placed we are to make it work.

With a great deal of care – and significant experience. We have worked with charities whose stories involve mental health, disability, addiction, domestic abuse and youth vulnerability. We understand that the people who agree to share their stories are doing something brave, and that our responsibility to them does not end when the camera stops. In practice this means we take time before any filming to understand your safeguarding framework and consent processes. We never push for footage or testimony that feels uncomfortable. We will flag concerns if something does not feel right. And we work closely with your team throughout to make sure the finished story honours the people in it – not just the message it needs to carry. If you have not worked with a film or animation studio before and want to talk through what good practice looks like before you commit to anything, we are very happy to do that.

Both – and we are set up to make either work seamlessly. The majority of our process happens remotely, including discovery calls, scriptwriting, design reviews and animation production. For projects involving location filming we travel across the UK and work with a trusted network of regional crew to keep costs sensible and logistics straightforward. If you are based outside of our home base in Cheshire, that is no barrier at all. Some of our best and longest-standing relationships are with organisations we have never met in person. What matters is the quality of the conversation, not the postcode.
We are built for organisations who take their storytelling seriously and want a creative partner rather than a production service. That typically means projects with a budget of £5,000 or above, and organisations who are commissioning film or animation because they genuinely need to change how someone thinks, feels or acts – not to tick a box. We are particularly well suited to series work and ongoing partnerships, where we can build a deep understanding of your organisation and produce consistent, high-quality work across multiple stories over time. If you have a single project in mind, we are still very much open to that conversation – we want to make sure it is a project we can genuinely do justice to. If you are not sure whether your project is the right fit, the quickest way to find out is to speak to one of our producers. No obligation – just an honest conversation.

Yes on both counts. We are based in Cheshire in the north west of England and work with organisations across the whole of the UK. Distance is not a barrier – our discovery and creative process works entirely remotely when needed, and for location filming we have a trusted network of crew across different regions. If you are in Scotland, Wales, London or anywhere in between, we would be glad to hear from you.
